Florent has just joigned the research unit REVERSAAL for a thesis aiming at determining infiltration and filtration capacity of pollutants using a combination of infiltrometric and geophysical methods. The thesis is under the joint supervision of Rémi Clément (INRAE – UR REVERSAAL) and Laurent Lassabatère (LEHNA - IAPHY). The idea is to follow the path of water (preferential paths) and pollutants in the soil, using magnetite-core nano-tracers injected into the infiltration water and detecting them by induced polarization. We plan to use the OhmPi device and nano-tracers designed in partnership with ILM.
