ASTREAUX: the REVERSAAL research unit is a partner in a new 4-year private/public collaborative project led by the company EcoBIRD

The ASTREAUX project (Adaptation of low-cost solutions for the treatment and recovery of domestic and rainwater wastewater using planted filters for the reuse of treated water), led by EcoBIRD and in partnership with the REVERSAAL research unit and the company Ecofilae, is the winner of the INNOV EAU call for projects, supported by ADEME. The project involves: 

• the development of innovative plant-based systems for the management of urban water (domestic wastewater and rainwater), including treatment and/or recovery of nutrients (N and P) and reuse of treated effluents,
• the development of a decision-making tool for operators for a sustainable and integrated management of urban water on a regional scale, supporting the development of nature-based solutions.
